Pretty Caterpillar

Been putting together the display boards for our OOS displays at Oxford Bioblitz
running through Saturday and Sunday hope to see some of you there, please make
yourself known to me Iwill be wearing my OOS Secretary's lapel badge.
Needed to feed three of our Tree Sparrow sites as Sally one of our trusty volunteers
has gone birding in Wales for a few days and snapped a perky Jenny Wren and this colourful Caterpillar
Do you know its name?

  2. Cheers Roger - I have been at the Oxford Bioblitz with Lew who was running a feather identification board and of course he absolutely stunned us with this other element of his phenomenal birding knowledge. For once you were unable to help us with your marvellous photography skills, as the next Oxford Times article, this time by Clackers, is about the recent Corncrake & Quail on Otmoor, and unusually you have nothing good enough in the archives but Lew saved the day by letting us use his superb Corncrake illustration.
